La Liga leaders Barcelona have this evening announced their squad to take on Chelsea in the second-leg of their Champions League last-16 tie tomorrow night.
The two sides are set to go head to head at the Camp Nou, following a thrilling 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge 3 weeks ago.
Chelsea have endured a disappointing run of form since the clash, with Antonio Conte’s men having fallen to consecutive defeats to Manchester United and Manchester City, though they did earn a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace last time out.
Barcelona, meanwhile, have played out 4 fixtures since their first-leg matchup with Chelsea two weeks ago, with the Blaugrana having picked up 3 wins and a draw over that span, including a crucial 1-0 win over La Liga title-challengers Atletico Madrid.
And the Catalan outfit’s hopes for tomorrow evening have today been dealt a huge boost, after Andres Iniesta was included in the club’s matchday squad.
Iniesta has been out of action since last weekend, after hobbling off with a hamstring problem versus Atletico Madrid.
He was viewed as a major doubt to face Chelsea, with Blaugrana boss Ernesto Valverde having admitted earlier today that he still wasn’t sure whether his side’s midfield mastermind would be available.
But such worries have seemingly been dismissed this evening, with the release of Barca’s squad for tomorrow night:
